It's important to avoid using sharp objects that could accidentally cut into the mattress, as this can cause damage. So sit back, relax, and let our delivery team take care of the unboxing process for you.
Use a mattress protector
To protect your mattress from spills, stains, and general wear and tear, it's a good idea to invest in a mattress protector. A good quality protector will help extend the life of your mattress by creating a barrier between your body and the mattress itself. It will also make cleaning up any spills or accidents much easier.
How often should I update my mattress
Did you know we spend about a third of our lives sleeping? That’s a lot of time with your mattress!
Generally, it’s advised to get a new mattress about every eight years. Meaning, if you purchased your mattress before 2013, you’re probably due for an upgrade! However, according to Consumer Reports, as we get older, we typically get less time out of a mattress because our bodies tolerate “less pressure” as we age.
Keep it clean
Regularly cleaning your mattress will help keep it fresh and hygienic. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust, dirt, or debris that may have accumulated on the surface. If there are any stains or spills, use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the affected area. Make sure to blot (not rub) the area with a clean, damp cloth to avoid damaging the mattress.
Avoid jumping or standing on the mattress
Jumping or standing on your mattress can cause damage to the springs and foam layers. This can lead to sagging and other issues that can affect the overall comfort and support of the mattress. So, it's best to avoid using your mattress as a trampoline.
