Where we come from
Over five decades he's worked across every corner of the industry — manufacturing, wholesale and retail. He's seen how mattresses are made, how they're marked up, and how the high street has consistently charged people far more than a quality mattress actually costs to produce.
Lola Sleep was started because we believed there was a better way.
What we do differently
We source quality UK-made mattresses directly and sell them to you without the showroom markup, the inflated RRPs, or the endless discount codes that make it impossible to know what you're actually paying.
Every mattress in our range is UK-made — chosen for performance and longevity, not cost-cutting. We've spent decades in this industry understanding what makes a mattress last and what makes a good night's sleep. That knowledge goes into every product we sell.
We're not a VC-funded startup trying to disrupt the mattress market with a clever brand and a box. We're a small, specialist team who know mattresses inside out — and we think that matters.
How we deliver
When you order from Lola Sleep, our own 2-man delivery team brings your mattress to your room of choice, sets it up on your bed frame, and takes all the packaging away. You don't lift a finger.
We do this because we know how important the delivery experience is. A mattress that arrives rolled up in a box on your doorstep isn't the same as one that's properly set up and ready to sleep on. The extra care costs us more — but it's the right way to do it.
